• Recommendation of candidates will be done through a SECRET NOMINATION.

• Anyone who wishes to nominate a member should approach the COMELEC and inform them verbally.

• Nominations through text, letter, written on log book, e-mail, and the like, are not valid.

• All active members of PAFT-α, except the COMELEC, can nominate any active members including themselves as long as it is constitutional.

• A member can nominate only one person per position.

• The COMELEC, the nominee and the person who nominates should keep the identities of the nominee concealed. MEMBERS SHOULD STRICTLY COMPLY WITH THIS until March 5.

• The nominee will be informed verbally that she/he is nominated on the morning of March 3 (Wednesday). The information will be between the COMELEC and the nominee only and should not be disclosed to other members.

• The nominee will not be informed about the identity of the person who nominated him/her.

• The nominee will be given A DAY to decide whether to accept or to decline the nomination.

• Failure to respond to the nomination will mean acceptance of the nomination. (SILENCE MEANS YES!). However, members nominated to different positions must respond immediately.

• The number of nominees in a certain position will be concealed. The COMELEC will inform the members only in the case wherein there is still no nominee in a certain position. The same process of nomination applies until all of the available positions are filled or until the last day of the nomination period (March 5, Friday).

• Once the nomination is accepted, it cannot be withdrawn without a valid reason. The validity of the reason will be decided by the COMELEC.

• The list of candidates will be released on the first day of the campaign period (March 8, Monday).

March 12                       Election (8am – 5pm)
